Ljubljana, 14 May 2021 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Programme Operator for the programme Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship, has published a Call for proposals for co-financing of projects under the programme Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship in today’s Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No 74/2021. Applicants with project proposals that promote institutional cooperation at all levels of formal and informal education, contribute to improving the supportive environment for disadvantaged target groups and to improving work-life balance are invited to apply for funding.

The purpose of the Call for proposals is to select project proposals for funding under the programme Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship (short Education – Enhancing Human Capital). The selected projects will be supported by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014–2021 and will receive the matching national co-financing. The projects will pursue the overall objectives of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014–2021, i.e. to contribute to the reduction of economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area, and to strengthen bilateral relations between Slovenia and Norway. ‘’The funding under the programme Education – Enhancing Human Capital will support the projects promoting institutional collaboration at all levels of formal and informal education, improving the supportive environment for disadvantaged target groups and helping reconcile work and family life. Slovenia will contribute to a competitive and inclusive Europe thanks to the financial support from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism. I invite you to submit your project proposal,’’ said Minister Zvone Černač on the occasion of the launch of the call for proposals.

The amount made available under the Call for proposals is EUR 11,299,156.00. The project grant rate represents up to 100% of total eligible expenditures of a project.

The deadline for submission of project proposals is 30 September at 12:00 (noon) CET. Project applications have to be submitted via electronic monitoring system eMS at https://ems.norwaygrants.si/emsegp.
