Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a grant decision for the projects “Entrepreneurial approach to addressing the challenges in the region Jugovzodna Slovenija – PONI JV”, “Entrepreneurial approach to addressing the challenges in the region Gorenjska - PONI Gorenjska” and “Entrepreneurial approach to addressing the challenges in the region Obalno-kraška development region”. For projects worth just under EUR 2.4 million, the European Regional Development Fund will contribute EUR 1.7 million. These are the next three in a row of eight projects within the project “Entrepreneurial approach to addressing challenges”, which will be implemented throughout Slovenia. Its purpose is entrepreneurial training of people who want to realize their entrepreneurial idea.
The main goal of the project “Taking an entrepreneurial approach to addressing challenges” is new enterprises that will be established by people having an entrepreneurial idea and participating in entrepreneurial training. To promote entrepreneurship and successfully developing ideas, entrepreneurs require relevant support which will, indeed, be provided to the participants by internal and external mentors, outside experts and entrepreneurs. The project provides support activities which enables participants’ employment and establish supportive entrepreneurial environment over a period of four months for a successful development and realisation of business ideas. The training programme takes the participants from developing a business idea to designing a business model and business plan and introduces them to all the relevant entrepreneurship fields. The project will also enable participants to use the infrastructure in line with the co-working principle.
ERDF will contribute EUR 462,644.00 for the project "Entrepreneurial aaproach to addressing the challenges in the Obalno-kraška" in the amount of EUR 660,920.00. The project will be implemented by the Regional Development Center Koper - Centro regionale di sviluppo Capodistria.
The ERDF will contribute EUR 639,600.00 for the project "Entrepreneurial approach to addressing the challenges in the Jugovzhodna Slovenija region - PONI SE Slovenia" in the amount of EUR 852,800.00. The project will be implemented by the Novo mesto Development Center, Svetovanje in razvoj, d.o.o.
The ERDF will contribute EUR 596,960.00 for the project "Entrepreneurial approach to addressing the challenges in the Gorenjska region - PONI Gorenjska" in the amount of EUR 852,800.00. The project will be implemented by BSC, Business Support Center, d.o.o.
