Ljubljana, 5 April 2019 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the project ‘’Jesenice business zone expansion: Reconstruction of transport infrastructure’’. The overall project budget stands at EUR 526,000; the project will receive ERDF contribution amounting to EUR 244,000.
The reconstruction of transport infrastructure in the north-west area of the business zone will help improve accessibility to the zone, increase traffic throughput and in turn significantly improve road safety performance. The investment seeks to activate the currently unused building plots and attract new businesses and activities to the zone while supporting the growth of active businesses. Additionally, the aim is to boost the competitiveness of SMEs, create new jobs and add value to the businesses.
