Ljubljana, 15 February 2019 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the call for proposals “Support environment for activities in the field of culture 2019” to be published today by the Ministry of Culture. The call, which makes a total of almost EUR 700,000 available, will receive a contribution from the European Social Fund in the amount of a little under EUR 560,000.
Projects focusing on establishing a support environment for activities in the field of culture will receive EU funding under the abovementioned call for proposals with the objective of raising the level of employment, enhancing competence and supporting social inclusion of the unemployed and inactive, in particular people over 50, the long-term unemployed, individuals having the level of education under ISCED 3, and those being in the process of losing their jobs.
Ministry of Culture will encourage individuals and employers of the abovementioned target groups to participate in relevant programmes and projects in the field of culture by also supporting new employments and trainings.
Eligible applicants are non-government organisations in the field of culture, public institutes and agencies registered for performing cultural and artistic activities and mediation of cultural goods in Slovenia.
