Ljubljana, 12 April 2019 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the call for proposals “Support for new careers in the cohesion region Vzhodna Slovenija in the period 2019-2021”. The call, which will be published next week by the Ministry of Culture and makes a total of EUR 450,000 available, will receive European Social Fund support in the amount of EUR 360,000.
The EU funding available under the abovementioned call for proposals will co-finance employment in public institutions in the field of culture. The call targets unemployed individuals aged up to and including 29 at the time of project inclusion. During the time of their full-time employment the included individuals will perform their tasks under the supervision of a mentor, and will gain new knowledge, skills and competences as well as work experience which will improve their employability.
The call for proposals will thus contribute to the establishment of a more encouraging working environment in the field of culture and to increasing the share of young people included in the measures in the field of labour market.
