Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a financial support decision for the project “Co-financing of operating costs for companies in tourism and hospitality sector during the COVID-19 epidemic”. The project worth EUR 10 million will be implemented by the public agency SPIRIT and will receive over EUR 7.2 million of European Regional Development Fund support.
The available funds will be made available to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism and hospitality sector through a public call. An individual company will be eligible to a maximum of EUR 9,999.00 in the form of a flat rate determined on a case-by-case basis.
The aim of the public call is to co-finance operating costs incurred due to revenue shortfalls resulting from the COVID-19 epidemic. Due to external and objective circumstances and measures taken to prevent the spread of the disease companies in the tourism and hospitality sector were unable to do business with certain necessary costs for keeping the companies in their minimum shape nevertheless incurring.
