Ljubljana, 9 July 2020 - Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a grant decision for the project “Drainage and treatment of wastewater in the upper Sava river basin - Municipality of Radovljica”. The Cohesion Fund will contribute EUR 1.5 million euros for the project worth almost EUR 3.3 million euros, which will be implemented by the municipality of Radovljica.
The investment includes the construction of the missing sewerage network in the Radovljica agglomeration. As part of the project, a sewerage network will be built with a total length of 6,110 m, of which 5,164 m is the gravity channel and 946 m is the pressure channel. With the implementation of the project, 96.87% of the entire agglomeration will be connected, which will ensure greater connection to the economic public infrastructure of wastewater collection and treatment.
