Namely, the professions and competencies of the future will be presented, as well as the possibilities of obtaining various scholarships or practical experience in education. You will meet young active citizens, apprentices who master their special profession, people who break stereotypes and business people from some of our largest companies. With the help of digital services, you will be able to make many tasks easier, and above all, have fun with Rok Bohinc.
Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, Public Scholarship, Development, Disability and Maintenance Fund, Ministry of Public Administration, Employment Service, Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and other participants will be presented to the young people in the city with many opportunities in education, employment and solving entrepreneurial challenges.
The Public Scholarship, Development, Disability and Maintenance Fund of the Republic of Slovenia will present Zois scholarships, Ad futura scholarships for study mobility abroad, scholarships for deficit professions, and information on the EducationUSA centre will also be available. At the same time, young people have to think about the way of gaining work experience, competencies and skills that their potential employers will ask for, so the programmes Creative Path to Knowledge, Student Innovative Projects for Social Benefit and Connecting the Vocational and Social System are available to them. Why the acquisition of new knowledge and competencies or lifelong learning is so very important for each individual, young people will learn through the Competence Centres for Human Resources Development programme, which will present the professions of the future.
Employment Service of Slovenia also helps young people to plan their careers and choose a profession through numerous active employment policy programmes (Project-based learning for young adults, Permanent employment of young people, On-the-job training, EURES, Where and how zo get additional information in Career Centres).
European Social Fund also co-finances the First Job in the field of education, which enables young people up to the age of 29 to contribute to ensuring access to the fastest and highest quality employment in the field of education and thus to increasing the share of young people involved in labour market measures. BIC Ljubljana will present how this works in practice. In a different way, apprenticeship is carried out, which enables the acquisition of the same education as in the school form, except that there is more practice.
Ministry of Public Administration is developing a number of advanced electronic services of interest to high school and university students, e.g. an application for subsidized tickets, an application for a scholarship for deficient professions and an application for a Zois scholarship, the arrangement of temporary residence, for those who do not reside in student or student dormitories, voucher for personal supplementary work, etc. Informativa will also present two interesting projects for improving the competencies and creativity of employees in the state administration: Competence Model and Inovativen.si - Partnership for Change, which addresses the creative solution of challenges and providing knowledge and competencies of employees for a different way of working. Special guests at the exhibition space will be young active citizens who participated in the Ključ, Model M Slovenia and PiMP projects.
