Ljubljana, 20 May 2022 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved EU funding for the call for proposals Provision of telecare services for patients with chronic diseases.

The call for proposals will ensure the provision of responsive telecare services relying on the use of modern ICT for patients with chronic heart failure, diabetes, arterial hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. Telecare will facilitate chronic disease management in the community and will be delivered in the frame of the public healthcare network which brings together providers of healthcare services and of various healthcare activities at primary, secondary and tertiary level.

The call for proposals will be supported by the European Social Fund under the React-EU initiative. At a later stage, funding of telecare services will be secured from other sources.
